Professional Bio:

Welcome! My name is Jason Kennedy, and I am excited about being a part of the Turner County High School family serving as the instructional Coach. I have been teaching for 18 years in all types of classrooms and in grades ranging from elementary to college. There is nothing more exciting to me than connecting with others through learning, no matter the subject.

Over the years as an educator, I have earned my Masters degree in English and my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I have also added on other certifications such as Gifted Endorsement and Reading Specialist. I love learning and all that it involves. My passion for the classroom drives what I do daily, and I hope to be a resource for the teachers and students at TCHS for years to come.

I am married and have three wild boys, and we all love doing anything outdoors: camping, hiking, kayaking. When I'm not outside, I enjoy reading anything, binge-watching most things and trying to keep my dry sense of humor from driving people away. On a serious note, what I do enjoy most is the classroom and being a positive influence on learning. I am ready for a great year here at TCHS!
