Expectations
My goal for you this year is to find a love and passion for science and social studies. While we have engaging experiments, hands-on experiences, and inquiry-based projects planned, I will hold you to high expectations so that productive learning may take place. We will follow Hahira Elementary's motto, and I also expect students to grow and develop as communicators, friends and peers, learners, and leaders in my classroom. Disruptive and unskillful behavior will not be tolerated and will be addressed. I do not assign nightly homework, but there is always work to be done, including studying and completing Study Island lessons at home. You will take a 5th grade science GMAS this year!
*Practice your multiplication and division facts this summer.
*Read this summer to avoid the summer slide.
