Career Development Events (CDEs) and Leadership Development Events (LDEs) help students develop the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly, and perform effectively in a competitive job market. Students use skills learned during preparation for these events to compete against their peers and demonstrate knowledge learned. 

Hahira Middle School FFA offers a variety of CDEs and LDEs each year depending on student interest and involvement. See Ms. Thomas if you have an interest in any of the following: Floral Design, FFA Quiz, Livestock Judging, Floriculture, Nursery Landscape, Wildlife Management, FFA Creed Speaking, and Prepared Public Speaking.

PRACTICES: Practice dates are on the HMS FFA Calendar! Practices are from 3:30PM to 5:30PM. Students must attend practices to be able to attend the competitions. If there is a conflict see Ms. Thomas to see if there are any alternatives.
