Meet Mrs. Dorsey

Hello! My name is Mrs. Dorsey, and I’m so looking forward to working with your student this year. This is my 5th year teaching special education, and my 2nd year at Dewar Elementary. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree at Butler University in Elementary and Special Education. I have also worked as a part time, home bound behavior therapist for early childhood. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, cooking, painting, and hiking.

I can’t wait to share my love of education with my students and help them to reach their goals! I’m excited to help your child meet their academic, emotional, and social needs. We are going to have an amazing year!
