Hi! I am Cortney Philpot, and I am looking forward to you being in my class this year. This is my fifth year teaching sixth grade math at Hahira Middle School. I have a master's degree in Middle Grade Mathematics.

My favorite time of the year is the summer (probably as well as yours), so I can spend time with my family enjoying the sunshine. I am married and have a six year old daughter named Madi, and a two year old son, Bennett.

I have an enthusiasm for learning new things, and I enjoy sharing that with my students. My classroom is bright, cheery, and inviting. I believe that hard work, humor, honesty, a good attitude, and a positive mindset go a long way.

Come to class everyday with a smile and a good attitude. Leave class the same way, and the middle part will just fall into place.
