Tests: 50%

This category is worth a very large part of your child's overall average. Students will be made aware of upcoming tests well in advance. The following items are included in this category:

Daily/Homework grades: 20%

This category will be the assignments we do in class and homework assignments. These will help students practice and prepare for tests. The following items are included in this category:

• classwork

• homework

• google classroom practice assignments

Performance Tasks: 30%

This category shows how students are progressing with the content we are learning in class. The following items are included in this category:

• quizzes

• performance based assignments (could include group work, google classroom assignments)
