March is National Youth Art Month where we come together as a community to celebrate the arts and the young artists who have spent countless hours throughout the school year creating these masterpieces. Each student has chosen one work of art to represent themselves as an artist in this year's virtual art show. We would like to invite you as part of the Dewar community to browse our student's artwork. Through this virtual exhibition, it is our hope you will celebrate and gain an understanding of the creativity, thought, and hard work that goes into creating art at Dewar Elementary.

This art show is also a fundraiser for the DES ART PROGRAM . We are offering you the opportunity to purchase YOUR child’s artwork professionally framed and matted. You will see several links throughout the site that will help direct you in purchasing your child's framed artwork. Not only do these pieces make wonderful additions to any home art display, but they are powerful ways to boost your child's self image as a growing artist.
