Every spring, we have the great joy of meeting all of our Lowell 5th grade students to introduce the idea of joining band, orchestra, or choir in 6th grade. We are excited help your student sign up for music for next year! Our rising 7th and 8th graders will have the chance to join beginning band or orchestra, or a choir class as well! We know that the joy of bringing home their instrument and starting orchestra, band, or choir next fall will be more than just an exciting day; it is the start of a great journey and adventure. Music is such a unique subject because your children can have fun, learn a beautiful art form, and develop life skills needed to be successful beyond their school career. Please join us for this wonderful musical journey!
Since the middle school office needs to make preliminary student class schedules for next fall, we are asking you to review the pages and information on this site with your student. This, along with trying an instrument at school, will help your student choose what instrument they will want to play. Once they've decided, please fill out the LMS Music Interest google form, linked above, or email one of the teachers - links below!
