A HUGE shout out to all the 8th graders working on their Civics projects!!
On May 1st a handful of students went to the School Committee Meeting to discuss important topics that affect all students; school lunches, school start time, and the MCAS graduation requirement.

Mr Conners is running a 50/50 raffle to help support the 8th grade's end of the year activities!
Students will be coming around every Friday to sell tickets

SJA BAsketball
The SJA Basketball League was established in 1994 to promote sportsmanship and fair play, supportive instruction, and friendly competition for the youth of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell. The SJA Summer Basketball League has grown to serve Greater Lowell/Merrimack Valley communities (20+ communities in MA and NH) providing summertime activity for hundreds of children ages 6 to 17.

Attendance
The Students who have perfect attendance, or have made improvements in their attendance, will be recognized and celebrated in the following ways:
Your name will be placed on the Attendance Wall- located right outside the main office and Your name will be placed in a drawing for a chance to win an exciting reward or prize!!
The classroom with the best attendance percentage rate at the end of the month will have the opportunity to win a pizza party or ice cream party!
Remember attendance does matter and it equals success. Make sure you come to school everyday and on time so you don't miss out!!!
