Students are given the freedom to research topics that interest them  We discuss how to find information and how to vet information for trustworthiness and usefulness in our research.

Students use Kiddle.com to research their chosen topic. They write out important points of interest for their research.

Then, we create a script and an outline for filming.

Finally we get to film their piece in front of the green screen!

With a little studio magic, students are transported across the world or through time to bring their stories to life.

We also learn about graphic design and layout, working on making Logos and Graphics for our stories.

The goal of newspaper club is to instill a love of learning and to support student interests. Please enjoy our clips- these take weeks to research, write, film and edit.
