Band April Newsletter

We are wrapping up an excellent school year with the SGA Band. On Monday, May 6 we will be having our annual Pops concert with all Lovington Schools' bands. This will be at 6:30pm and will be held in the Lovington High School Gymnasium. Look for more important information regarding performance dress attire and call time for the concert.

Choir April Newsletter

We're finishing up tryouts for Middle School Choir! If your student is interested in trying out, please let the office or Mrs. Tiner know as soon as possible. 

Our final concert of the year, "The Grand Ol' Musical" will be on Friday, May 10th at 6:30 pm. We will 

have a dress rehearsal the day before on Thursday, May 9th, time TBD. 

Physical Education April Newsletter

SGA Physical Education classes completed our Tennis Unit. The students developed their skills of striking, serving, coordination and teamwork with a partner. They engaged in games of badminton and pickleball. finishing off with a badminton tournament.  

Keyboarding April Newsletter

As we go continue through the semester, the Keyboarding Classes are focusing on our typing skills of Letter Mastery. The students have been working very hard at remembering the layout of the keys as well as typing accuracy and speed. They have worked very hard on improving their typing skills during the semester and their hard work has shown during the semester. 

Careers and Technology April Newsletter

Students are learning about different vocational careers and exploring pathways to set them up for future success in whatever occupation they choose. Students work with a partner learning about a curriculum related to a particular career cluster and complete hands-on activities related to the field.
