Supplies!
We have a limited number of extra supplies for DNA Extraction (a Live Event) and Ocean Explorer (an On Demand event). If you would like to participate in one of those activities, you may pick up the supplies in the foyer of the high school between 10:00 and 12:00 on Saturday, April 10th.
STEM Festival T-Shirt
Congrats to Manna from Sloan Creek on winning the STEM Festival T-Shirt Design contest! We are so proud of her unique design. A very limited number of shirts will be available for purchase from 10:00-12:00 in the foyer of the high school. The cost of each shirt is $10.00 and must be paid in cash.
At Home Supplies
Most supplies for the STEM Festival will be common items you have around your home. This is a great opportunity to start a Makerspace area in your home where your children can create, tinker, and invent. Suggested items include but are not required: popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, empty water bottles and plastic tubs, various types of tape, paper clips, glue, scissors, empty paper towel/toilet paper tubes, straws, ruler/measuring tape, grocery sacks, cardboard, string/yarn, rubber bands, clay/playdough. Many of these items are also great examples of reusing items instead of throwing away!
