Meet Alexis
Alexis is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) who served for three years with her local WIC program and health department in multiple lactation roles. She began her journey as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and went on to become a nutritionist and the Breastfeeding Coordinator. She supervised the Breastfeeding Peer Counselor program and worked as a liaison to the nursing staff, providing regular professional education. During her time with WIC and the health department, Alexis helped families reach their breastfeeding goals through personalized lactation visits, support groups, and education. She believes that knowledge is power and is driven by statistics. Her practice is evidence based and compassionate. Alexis has a passion for public health, helping families, educating the community, and advocating for breastfeeding. Alexis completed Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty (TOTS) Training by Chrysalis Orofacial in 2018.

Alexis has been married to her high school sweetheart since 2005. A mom of four, she has spent over ten years breastfeeding! (Yes, she's tired!). Alexis loves to learn and you can often find her reading. She is also an artist who enjoys crocheting, painting, and crafting.
