o   Intermediate marsh & its plants, galls on cypress trees, and loss of and research to restore cypress swamps

o   Aquatic macroinvertebrates (insects, spiders) and terrestrial invertebrates

o   Aquatic vertebrates

·  Interpretive boat ride from Galva facility to the Environmental Research Center and back

·  Galls on cypress trees and other plants

·      Optional pre- or post-workshop visit to Joyce Wildlife Area boardwalk – with guided learning handouts
