The Truman Readers Award encourages students in the early teen years to express their unique voice through exploring new literary genres, communicating with their peers about young adult literature, and honoring authors writing for young teens.
Missouri Gateway Readers
*High School Readers*
Missouri is the Gateway to the West and the Gateway Nominated Books are your gateway to a great story! These books have been chosen by Missouri students, librarians, and teachers as some of the best books out there.
Read a 2 or more books on the lists below, you can attend our voting parting in March! Each book you read will also earn you a star on our Truman Readers Wall of Fame or Gateway Readers Wall of Fame. At the end of the year, each star will get you entered to win a prize!
