Kim Marek

This is my 29th year in education.  I am a Louise graduate and take great pride in teaching the students of LISD.   I am married to Rick Marek who is also a Louise graduate.  We have two children, Macy and Mathew who both graduated from Louise as well.  Macy is currently on her 3rd year of teaching 2nd grade in LISD.   Mathew graduated from WCJC in the Instrumentation and Control for South Texas Nuclear Project and is employed by STP.  

I'm very excited about assisting students in their classrooms working on basic fundamental math concepts.  Math can be a really hard concept for some students, but my goal is to reach students so that they understand math by applying many different strategies and approaches.
