Interested in Student Government?
All 14,000 Brooklyn College undergraduate students are constituents of the Undergraduate Student Government, and as such, are entitled to representation, student government services, and votes in all USG general and special elections.
The students of Brooklyn College each must pay a Student Activity Fee (SAF). Through the SAF, students contribute to the student government for each term and summer session in which they enroll. SAF, collected by the Brooklyn College Association (BCA), are to be deposited in the BC Central Depository and, except where earmarked, allocated by the BCA budget committee, subject to review by the BCA.
The student activity fee includes the fees for student government and other student activities and organizations including the college newspapers the Vanguard and Nightcall, use of athletic equipment and campus facilities, admission to certain social and cultural events, and maintenance of the Student Center.
