Lakeridge High School
Virtual Open House
Welcome to LHS!
This page is designed as a resource for students and families who are new to LHS. We encourage you to review this page and navigate through our school website to learn more about our school. There you will find important information like our daily schedule, calendar, and Curriculum Guide.
Our four-year comprehensive public secondary school offers a challenging course of study aimed at meeting the needs of a predominantly college-bound student body of approximately 1200 students.
Lakeridge High School promotes a respectful community where each individual is responsible for contributing to excellence. We want all students to acquire and develop essential academic and social-emotional skills that will help them experience success in our 21st century global society: Collaboration, Communication, Creative and Critical Thinking.
Please view our school profile and our New Student Fact Sheet for additional information.
Originally built in 1971 and extensively remodeled in 2005, Lakeridge was designed with a circular common area that connects the different wings of the school. Subject areas are grouped together (English, World Language, Math, Science, Social Studies, and the Arts). The local community supports the district through Capital Improvement Bonds, Local Option Levies, The Lake Oswego Schools Foundation and the Pacer Parent Club. Recent upgrades include an outdoor classroom, greenhouse, culinary classroom, technology in the classrooms, and improvements to our athletic facilities. Here are some photos from our campus.
We have exciting opportunities for students to get involved, make connections with others, challenge themselves and explore their curiosity through a variety of clubs, 5 bands, 5 choirs, 2 orchestras, 5 acting courses and other theatrical productions.
