Shoreline Middle School was the home to our beloved Bytheal Ratliff, who served as our Athletic Director and Campus Supervisor.
Bytheal was larger than life with a smile and giving spirit to match. A beloved athlete-turned-coach, he dedicated much of his time giving back to his community. Bytheal made a genuine connection with everyone he met, and always brought out the best in people. Bytheal will always be treasured at Shoreline Middle School and to the Santa Cruz Community.
We are excited to dedicate our updated gym floor in honor of Bytheal.
Bytheal always supported Youth Sports, and before his passing, he had dreams of updating the Shoreline Gym with a beautiful wood floor.
