What is the STEAM Fair?
Are you curious about the world around you and how things work? Do you like to create experiments to test your ideas? Do you have an idea for an invention or a way to improve something that already exists? If yes, the STEAM Fair is for YOU!
Create either a Scientific Investigation or Engineering Design project to share at the Lee STEAM Fair on Wednesday, April 30th (8:15-9:55). Projects are to be completed at home. Parents are encouraged to provide guidance, but the majority of the work should be done by the student. Display boards will be provided to students.
View THIS LINK to Mrs. Chambers' Introduction slide deck (shared with students in1st-5th grade STEAM Lab class) for inspiration.

Students may work alone or in a group.
Each student (or group) may pick up a presentation display board from Mrs. Chambers before or after school on April 3rd (provided by LAEF!)

Getting Started:
PLANNING PACKET LINK - I have created a planning packet for students. It is not required and does not need to be turned in, however you might find the information it contains helpful. It includes a check-off sheet to help keep students organized as well as tips for how to create their display board. If you do not have access to a printer, please email me at mchambers@losal.org and I will print a copy for your child.
