Grades

Expectations

Assignments are expected to be completed on time. Students are expected to put forth seventh grade honors effort at all times. Late work should be avoided as best as you can, however it will be accepted at half credit. Late work must be submitted within two weeks of this missed deadline or before the next progress report, whichever is sooner.

Weighting

Grades are weighted: 30% Tests, 30% Classwork, 25% Projects/Essays, 15% Homework.

Scale

The grade scale is as follows: A=100-90%, B=89-80%, C=79-70%, D= 69-60%, F=59-0%.

*9^th grade Honors English placement requires an A in both classes during all grading periods
