The Challenge:
We had a bag of left over Easter jelly beans, so we pulled out our toothpicks and started building! We decided to work together to build the tallest free standing tower that we could. We got up to 18 inches with a stable structure, but when we added on one more story to get to 22 inches, it collapsed just after taking the picture.

Note: Jelly beans are difficult to pierce with toothpicks unless you have the good, strong, pointy ones. You can also try this challenge with marshmallows, gum drops, fruit snacks, or playdough/clay and spaghetti instead of toothpicks.

Build Ideas:
* Build the tallest free standing tower
* Build a tower that can support weight (a piece of fruit, a book, a stuffed animal, etc)
* Build as many 3D shapes as you can (then put them together!)
* Build a shelter for a toy figure
* Build a house
* Build a bridge (we might try this one in a different challenge!)
