About me
My son David's wife Virgina, David, my wife Kathy, James, Faith, Sarah, and me on Christmas 2018.
Hello! I am Tim Butler. I teach Computer Science and Robotics at Lorena High School. This is my 4th year at Lorena High School and my eighth year teaching. I am super excited about our Robotics program going to state the last two years, and am ready to make it a third time!
I have been married to my wife Kathy for 35 years. We have two girls and two boys, all who have attended A&M University. My oldest daughter Sarah is a law clerk in Portland Oregon. My oldest son David, graduated with an engineering degree and is now a Captain & Pilot in the Marines. My youngest son James is working up in Oregon as an Arborist. Faith recently graduated with a bachelor's and is now pursuing her Nursing certification. I also just found out that I am going to be a grandfather!
After graduating from West High School, I spent 20 awesome years in the United States Air Force. I spent my first 10 years as an avionics specialist to include flying in a special duty assignment called "Project Speckled Trout", where I flew the Chief of Staff of the Air Force around the world to over 100 countries over 6 years. I spent my second 10 years in the Air Force as a computer and network technician.
