Announcements
UIL OAP auditions are Tuesday 12/19 in the Theatre Classroom during the 4A finals time. Callbacks will be directly after school on Wednesday.
1st Year of Teaching - I'm excited to announce this is my first year of teaching. I'm honored to be able to teach in my hometown. We'll take this one day at a time!
About Me
I am a proud 2018 graduate of Lorena High School. Here, I studied theatre, art, band, and loved the social sciences. After graduating, I went to college out of state at Middlebury College in Vermont. There, I received a Bachelor's degree in Directing with a minor in German.
Alongside teaching, I am also on the executive team with Silent House Theatre Company, a local group my friends and I made in 2020 as a way to find a sense of self during COVID-19. There, I have directed shows like Company and Crimes of the Heart, as well as acted in productions of Heathers: The Musical and A Streetcar Named Desire, amongst others.
Outside of theatre, I am fitness coach at Cyclebar. I often practice yoga and am an avid runner. I am a huge fan of Madonna and Whitney Houston. Thus, I love to dance. You'll probably find me at a coffee shop around town. I am always at one.
Although I subbed at LHS in the Spring of 2023, the 2023-2024 school year will mark my first year as an official teacher. I am excited to see what we can do together.
