Academic honesty is a commitment by students to do their own work. It is important that all students understand that allowing someone else, even a parent, to complete assignments or lessons for them prevents them from learning.
I will not copy another student's work or allow my work to be copied.
I will not allow someone other than me to submit assignments or assessments in my name.
I will not use unauthorized help or tools on an assessment or assignment.
I will not copy information from another source and submit it as my own.
I will cite and give credit if I use someone else's ideas, words, or images as part of my work.
I will not be dishonest with my teachers or parents about my schoolwork and assignments (such as saying an assignment was submitted when it was not).
Parents will be asked to e-sign their agreement to this pledge via Powerschool, and students will be asked to submit an assignment during the first week of school acknowledging their agreement to the academic honesty policy.
