Expectations & Procedures

Academic Expectations:

Promotion requirements---Students must have an average of 70 or above in all subject areas for the year and achieve a DRA reading level of 16 and a fluency of 60 wpm.

Behavior Expectations:

School Wide Rules:

1. Respect the rights and property of others.

2. Respect quiet zones and restroom areas.

3. Respect playground rules.

4. Respect all adults by following their instructions.

5. Respect your classroom rules.

Classroom Rules:

2. Follow directions

3. Work quietly, do not disturb others who are working

Grading policy

First grade report cards will be sent home every nine weeks. The report card grade is an average of daily assignment and test grades given in Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. A progress report will come home four weeks into each nine week period.
