For all credit-related questions please email our Academic Team at erin@loopabroad.com
Refund Policy for Credit: The $499 credit fee is optional and can be removed anytime before April 1. The total credit fee includes a $360 enrollment fee from the University of Findlay and a non-refundable $139 admin fee from Loop Abroad. The credit fee is refundable before April 1.
College credit along with an official transcript is available for nearly all of our summer, semester, and winter programs through our US university partner, the University of Findlay. Our Veterinary Service programs are curriculum-driven, science-based programs that meet most schools’ requirements. Over 100 colleges and universities have given credit for Loop Abroad programs. Credit cannot be added within 30 days of your program start date or after your program ends.
Please note that regardless of if you are receiving credit or not, everyone on a program is expected to complete all assignments and assessments that are part of the program. This generally includes several short assignments, a participation grade, and an exam (which the course will prepare you for) at the end of the program.
It is up to your school’s discretion whether they will grant credit and, if so, how the credits will be listed. For example, college credit could be assigned toward a course or internship. We are happy to help and can advise you on this process – just email erin@loopabroad.com.
What to do if you are seeking college credit:
Credit is automatically added to your tuition statement for $499. The deadline to pay for credit is April 1.
Speak to your advisor about how the credit will transfer to your degree plan. It's best to bring a syllabus with you.
Our Academic team will reach out to you in mid-April to complete your sign-up process. If you do not complete the sign-up process by the deadline, you will not receive credit or a refund.

Your program may meet the requirements towards your degree or major
You will get credit for the work you are doing, which helps you demonstrate the academic rigor of your Loop Abroad experience
You may be able to transfer credit to your current school, helping you fulfill a requirement or positively impacting your GPA
