Center for Engaged Learning Abroad (CELA-Belize)
Join a two-week community health nursing internship in tropical Belize and gain hands-on experience while shadowing local nurses and healthcare professionals. Spend one week in San Ignacio hospitals and another in rural villages alongside community health workers. This immersive program offers a unique perspective on Belize’s healthcare system and the cultural and social dynamics that shape it. Beyond clinical work, you’ll explore Belize’s culture and natural beauty through an organized wilderness excursion and free time to relax, and shop!
