Placer Elementary School Library
Hello!
My name is Krissy Kenoyer and it is my honor and privilege to be Placer Elementary's Library / Media Technician! I have enjoyed working here at Placer since 2012 and have been with our District since 2005. Our goal here in the library is to partner with our wonderful faculty to provide our students access to timely information and research, expose students to rich literature, and to promote a lifelong love of reading and learning. ....And, we have FUN in here! Our library is a wonderful resource and a warm, welcoming safe space for all students and staff, and I encourage you to visit, call or email me any time.

You can help kids and teens understand how viruses work and what causes pandemics, and give them facts about the coronavirus, using vetted resources curated for you on Wide Open School. (Website is also linked on the "Links & Resources" page) When accessing the website, simply do a search for Coronavirus and you'll be provided with customizable, age-appropriate choices of material to share with your child.
