The community project focuses on community and service, encouraging students to explore their right and responsibility to implement service as action in the community.

All 8th grade students design, build, and complete this assignment during their last year here at HCP and it an 8th Grade Promotion requirement.  Each student is apart of Community Project learning/work time on Friday's, during one of their 50 minute blocks. The project can be completed in a group (up to 3 people) or individually and is guided by a designated faculty advisor on campus. 

Students are required to attend Open House and showcase their projects.
