FOCUS for the WEEK
May 15-19
Our week will begin with a water balloon toss! Students will relate catching the water balloon with impact force (the last of their formulas). They will show their understanding of PE, KE, Newton’s laws and momentum through a quiz Tuesday. We will then begin our summative project - the egg drop. Students will be graded on their write up not the success of their contraption.
Next Tuesday, May 23, they will have a practical summative assessment that includes all of the content we have covered this unit. Their lab write ups will be due on the 25th.
