Book Projects
In lieu of nightly homework, students will choose a novel per quarter to read on their own. There will be three project options given each quarter. Each student will choose one of the three projects to complete as evidence for reading their novel. Quarterly book projects count as two test grades and due the last week of each quarter. On average, students will have between 6-8 weeks to complete the novel and project. Sample projects are displaying in our classroom all quarter, and all classes will be taken to the library for an opportunity to choose a novel to read.
