The Longmeadow School Committee is an elected body with seven members.  School Committee members are elected to their positions to serve terms of three years.  Elections are held in June with no more than three terms expiring each year.

The School Committe has the dual responsibility for implementing statutory requirements pertaining to public education and meeting local citizens' expectations for the education of the community's youth.  To learn more about the role of the School Committee  click here.

Formal correspondence to the Longmeadow School Committee should be made, in writing, and mailed to: 535 Bliss Road, Longmeadow, MA  01106. Correspondence must be received by 12:00 noon on the Wednesday prior to a scheduled School Committee meeting, in order to be entered as official correspondence during that meeting.
