Dear Glenbrook Families,
Winter is fast approaching and we are ramping up for another season of Glenbrook Ski Club!
Your Ski Club Advisors this year are Joe Yvon, Brian Marshall and Ashley Marshall. We also want to thank Glenbrook PAC for partnering with us to support Ski Club.
Glenbrook Ski Club will take place Friday nights at Berkshire East (BEAST) in Charlemont, MA. Ski club is a five week program and will begin on January 8, 2027. Participants do NOT need to have any prior skiing experience, but should TAKE LESSONS if they have never skied or are a beginner. Lessons will run 5:30pm - 7:00pm each week (prices included below).

1 If your child has a season ticket at BEAST, they do not need to purchase a lift ticket.
2 We recommend renting equipment from a local shop, see below.
3 Lessons are not required for experienced participants, but recommended for beginners.
Required Forms
To participate in Ski Club, students need the following 4 forms filled out completely and legibly. Forms 1 & 2 and your check must be turned into the office at Glenbrook. Please complete forms 3 and 4 online (links are included below):
ALL FOUR FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED AND THE CHECK MUST BE TURNED INTO THE MAIN OFFICE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24th. We are limited in the number of participants and participation is first-come, first-served.
Rental Equipment
If you rent equipment from BEAST, you will only have access to that equipment on the 5 days of Ski Club. Our recommendation is to rent from one of the three local ski shops: Colorado Ski & Bike and Ski Haus (both in Longmeadow) or Competitive Edge Ski and Bike (in East Longmeadow).
We are also pleased to share that Colorado Ski & Bike is offering a special deal to students in Ski Club. Please click on the Colorado Ski & Bike Ski Club Special Offer for more details. You do not need an ID to use this offer. Just say that you are in the Glenbrook Ski Club.
Volunteers & Snack/Water Donations:
WE NEED CHAPERONES: We need parent chaperones who can ride the buses and assist with loading and unloading the students and gear. Chaperones can ski on-mountain or remain in the lodge. If you are interested in being a ski or lodge chaperone, please include your information in the chaperone section of the online sign-up form or reach out to any of the three ski club coordinators below. Participating for even one week is helpful.
Snack and water donation sign ups for the ride up and back will be circulated closer to the ski club dates.

SSARS is entirely anonymous and user-friendly.
If you would like to chaperone a field trip, you must have an active CORI on file with our school. Unfortunately, it is not enough to have been CORI'd at another organization, they are not transferrable. They are good for 3 years. Please fill out the CORI Form completely, and then bring it to the office along with your driver's license. We are sorry, we cannot accept CORI applications sent in with your child. Thank you!
