Run Like Kat: Here is the registration for the 4th Annual Run Like Kat 5K and 1Mile Walk to celebrate the life of Katarina “Kat” Boskovic and to raise money for Kat’s memorial fund, Be Like Kat Inc. More info and registration and donation details are at the link: Run Like Kat 2025
Winter is fast approaching and we are ramping up for another season of Glenbrook Ski Club!
Your Ski Club Advisors this year are Joe Yvon as well as Brian and Ashley Marshall. We also want to thank Glenbrook PAC for partnering with us to support Ski Club.
Glenbrook Ski Club is going to take place Friday nights at Berkshire East (BEAST) in Charlemont, MA. Ski club is a five week program and will begin on January 9, 2026. This club will run on January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and February 6th. If there is a need to reschedule due to mountain closure, we will do so at the end. Buses will leave Glenbrook at 3:00 and they return between 9:15 and 10pm. On the half day (1/23) we will leave at 11:30 and return at approximately 8:45pm.
Transportation: $185.00
Lift Tickets: $155.00
Rental Equipment: $97 (for use ONLY while at Ski Club)
Lessons: $75
*If your child has a season ticket at BEAST, they do not need to purchase a lift ticket.
To participate in Ski Club, students need the following 3 forms legibly filled out:
**Please note that if you rent equipment from BEAST, you will only have access to that equipment on the 5 days of Ski Club and you have to wait in line to get your equipment which is time consuming and can be frustrating. Our recommendation would be to rent from one of the three local ski shops: Colorado Ski & Bike and Ski Haus (both in Longmeadow) and Competitive Edge Ski and Bike (in East Longmeadow).
**We are also pleased to share that Colorado Ski & Bike is offering a special deal to students in Ski Club. Please click on the Colorado Ski & Bike Ski Club Special Offer for more details. **You do not need an ID to use this offer. Just say that you are in the Glenbrook Ski Club.
Volunteers & Food/Snack/Drink Donations:
We are looking for two types of parent chaperones, those who will be skiing and those who will be in the lodge at home base. If you are interested in being a ski or lodge chaperone, please email Joe at jyvon123@gmail.com.
THE GLENBROOK WAIVER AND PARTICIPANT INFORMATION FORM MUST BE TURNED INTO THE MAIN OFFICE, WITH A CHECK, NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 25th. THE BEAST PROGRAM AND RELEASE MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE AS WELL. We are limited in the number of participants and it is first come first served.
