Hi everyone! My name is Alexa Whitman, and I am excited to meet all of you this year. This will be my eighth year at Center and I am very happy to be teaching your children! I attended Curry College, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. I attended Central Connecticut State University, where I received a Master's Degree in Special Education.
I grew up in Waterbury, CT and relocated to Westfield, MA. I am married and my husband's name is, Brian. My husband is in the United States Air Force! I have a two daughters Vivianne and Mia. I also have a dog named Sydney. Sydney is an Australian Shepherd and loves to snuggle.
My favorite hobbies include; drinking coffee.. especially my shaken expresso, going to the beach, reading mystery novels, and gardening. I really do love flowers, my favorites are peonies, dahlias, and hydrangeas. I also enjoy spending my time outdoors swimming and having fun with family and friends. Oh and most importantly, I am a New York Yankee Fan.
This is going to be a great year in second grade! I am looking forward to meeting all of you at the end of the summer! Make sure you find time to relax and have some fun!
