Social and Emotional Wellness

Unit Description: 

During the Mental Health Unit, students consider their personality traits and stressors, learn about the stress response, and explore a variety of methods for managing stress. Some of the more common mental health challenges will also be discussed as well as suicide prevention. Two of LHS’s Social Workers join in different lessons to allow students to get to know them as resources.
