 About Mrs. Coviello

This is my first full year at Blueberry Hill as the Math Specialist and I could not be happier to be here!

I went to Westfield State College for my undergraduate degree and Assumption College for my graduate degree.

I am born and raised In Suffield, CT and live there with my husband Dave, daughter Cecily, and our collie Maxwell Sheffield. Prior to moving back to Suffield, I lived in the suburbs of Boston for nine years.

I love to travel, read, hike, enjoy the summer sunshine, and spend time "unplugged" with my family and friends.

Math has always been my favorite subject to learn and teach! I look at math as though it is a puzzle to solve. I look forward to supporting the growth of the Blueberry Hill math brains!

 About Mrs. Bliss

This year starts my 34th year as an educator! I have taught students age 3-Adult in a variety of capacities and just really enjoy helping people develop a love for life-long learning! I received my Bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College and my Master's degree from Western Connecticut State University.

I started my teaching career as an Elementary classroom teacher of grades K, 2 and 5 in New Canaan, CT and then moved "home" to Western Mass after several years. I was the Director of Education at a career school for adults and then decided I really missed the classroom. I then taught middle school math (grades 6-8) at a private school in Chicopee for nine years, and it was there I discovered I really loved getting kids excited about math! Prior to coming to Blueberry as a Math tutor, I was also a Literacy tutor at Center School for two years. I look forward to assisting students in their educational journey here at Blueberry!

 About Ms. Berry

I began my career teaching 8th-grade math and algebra. When I saw my students struggling to solve algebraic equations while still counting on their fingers, I knew I wanted to help as many students as possible to feel confident and successful in math. After 9 years as the Math Specialist at Blueberry, I am so excited to be working with teachers and students at all 3 elementary schools! In addition to teaching math, I love spending time with my family, gardening, and bowling!

 About Mrs. Powell

I began my teaching career in Seattle in 1991. In 2003 I started teaching at Wolf Swamp Road School where I taught fourth grade for one year and first grade for eighteen years. I began my role as the K-2 math coach for all three elementary schools in 2022 and now enjoy working with teachers and students all over Longmeadow!
