Reflection
We thought that Flipgrid was an easy and effective way to communicate between schools. Students were able to share a video and enjoyed watching others on Flipgrid sharing about their favorite part of their school. We found even with kindergarten they were able to share on flipgrid with teacher support to guide them when they spoke, it was nice to use the post-it feature to remind students while they shared. Students learned new vocabulary and worked on their speaking skills as well as writing when they created maps. Making the Buncee in the end was the most challenging part when working with kindergarten, but we did shared experiences to write together. We wished we had more materials which are in the school buildings and more time to work with the students on this because they really enjoyed it!
