Craft Activity

Provide colored paper and craft supplies
Encourage them to use decorations they learned about (like moon and star shapes)
Students can write "Eid Mubarak" on their cards
The students thoroughly enjoyed this lesson and had fun. All of the students loved learning about a new holiday that they did not know about prior to this lesson. In addition, our students who celebrate Eid were very eager to share with their classmates about the traditions and foods that they have to celebrate Eid. We planned this with the elementary ENL department and used this lesson in 2nd/3rd grade integrated classroom settings.
