Students will create a digital story about a tradition, or cultural experience using Book Creator, Canva, Google Slides, and / or Movie Maker.

I can create a digital story about a tradition or cultural experience.

I can write in clear sentences when scaffolding my digital story.

I can use digital tools such as Book Creator, Canva, Google Slides, and Movie Maker to showcase a tradition.

The teacher shows some examples of digital stories of cultural traditions to students.
Students brainstorm cultural experiences and traditions in their native culture.
The teacher gives students prompts to help them scaffold their digital story.
Students create a digital story using pictures in Canva, Book Creator, or Google Slides.
Students peer review each story giving constructive feedback throughout the project.
Students present their stories to the class.
