If you child is having difficulty tracing, take a highlighter and trace the shapes, letter, etc. that your child will be tracing with a highlighter. Then have your child trace on top of that.
When coloring, take a crayon and outline a shape with the color your child will be using. This will help define the boundaries. Do this one at a time with the areas, shapes, pictures on the page to help focus their attention on one area at a time.

When cutting, make sure both thumbs are "up" and not facing down or hidden under the paper (both the cutting hand and helping hand). Take a black marker and make the lines more bold if need be.
