Dear Steam Families,
My name is Miss Itzol and I have been a teacher in the Long Branch Public School District for 16 years. I am excited to go on this Summer Journey with my students.
Students will view weekly fun videos to help guide them on how to prepare themselves to do community service and help the community. We will be reading books together and sharing ideas about Community Service.
Weekly Videos will be viewed on a video platform. It is never too early to make our great phenomenal students aware of how to make a difference in the world and the lives of others. Also our students can learn how to volunteer in the community. These are things that our students will need to become good and productive citizens.
Students will learn the ins and the outs of community service.
Community-based projects give students an opportunity to observe and analyze real-world situations while improving their professional skills and learning from the realities of their community.
