Water Temps: Conditions can vary significantly by site and current. Water temperatures can drop to 59°F / 15°C or lower, so additional thermal protection is strongly recommended. Divers should consider thermal layers, gloves, a hood or hooded vest, and a 20 to 30 meter reel or spool for DSMB deployment.
Currents: This is advanced diving with strong currents, depth, and potentially challenging conditions. Divers should be confident, experienced, and comfortable in current.
Marine Life: Hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, silky sharks, whale sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, sea turtles, dolphins, sea lions, marine iguanas, Galápagos penguins, giant morays, mola mola, seahorses, nudibranchs, frogfish, and massive schools of fish. Wildlife encounters are never guaranteed, but the potential here is extraordinary.
Dive Sites & Highlights: Darwin, Wolf Island, Cabo Marshall, Punta Vicente Roca, and other iconic areas across the archipelago may offer everything from schooling hammerheads and Galápagos sharks to manta rays, mola mola, marine iguanas, penguins, and macro life.
Above Water: The Galápagos Islands are a UNESCO World Heritage Site with volcanic landscapes, endemic wildlife, and a history closely tied to Charles Darwin’s observations during the voyage of the HMS Beagle.
Dive one of the most legendary liveaboard destinations on Earth, where powerful currents, remote islands, and unforgettable marine life come together for a true bucket-list adventure.
