Hello LJ Families,
Fall weather has arrived, bringing with it the excitement of our first fall sports games. We look forward to seeing our students cheer each other on and take pride in representing Lone Jack. MS STUCO will start to host themed games throughout the year to encourage school spirit, and they are already planning the first themed middle school dance in October. More details will be shared soon.
Students have also enjoyed the opportunity to explore clubs during the school day twice a week. It has been wonderful to watch them try new activities and connect with classmates who share their interests.
Students will receive their MAP scores during RTI and their first STAR score on Monday. So please keep an eye out for those being sent home. The STAR assessment is given three times during the year, allowing families to see student progress and helping us celebrate growth throughout the year.
We are excited about the many opportunities this school year holds. Through academics, activities, sports, and clubs, our students are building confidence, discovering new strengths, and forming meaningful connections. We look forward to celebrating their growth and success.
Below, you’ll find upcoming events. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Warmly,
Lindsey Beck
