Nurses Memo:
Jackson County Health Department will be in our building on March 11 for our annual spring immunization clinic. This is a great opportunity to get the MO required vaccines for school. 8th graders need a Tdap and meningitis and 12 graders need a second meningitis. If you have general questions and/or questions about whether your student is in need of these you can reach out to Melissa Carpenter at mcarpenter@lonejackc6.net or Lindi Rogers at lrogers@lonejackc6.net. Please see attached flyers with more information regarding this opportunity. Parent letter: Click here. Flyer: Click here
Spring physical: May 3 from 5-7 at the high school. Open to all students, athletes are highly encouraged to utilize this opportunity if in need of a physical or have one expiring. Donations accepted and put back into our programs.
Sports Updates:
Cheerleading. Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders- Are you interested in cheering next year? MS Cheer is hosting open gyms Wednesday mornings from 6:30am-7:30am. This is a great opportunity to learn cheers/skills prior to tryouts in April! If you have any questions, please contact Tasha Ortiz.
MS Track practice has started this week. If your child wants to participate, he/she needs to have a physical on file. There will be a parent meeting and more information to come in the Rooms app.
Message from the counselors: All 6th and 7th graders and their parents received their course request form last week. Those are due by March 13th. 8th graders enrolled for high school last week
Student of the Month: February!
6th Grade: Lila Bordner & Darrel Baker
7th Grade: Megan Lidberg & Gage Davis
8th Grade: Miranda Stevenson & Jamie Leath
Core Teacher's Newsletter. At the top of this newsletter, you’ll find buttons linking to the 6th Grade Teacher Newsletter and the 7th & 8th Grade Teacher Newsletter.
