I have lived in Norwood since 2009. I was a teacher at the school for 13 years before I switched careers to the mental health field. I saw firsthand the needs of people during the pandemic, and I knew that I needed to help others heal and grow. My journey into the world of therapy included healing myself and using my past experiences as opportunities to connect with clients.

I have worked in mental health since 2022. I have experience as a mental health crisis clinician with Integrated Insight Community Care. In graduate school, I worked as an intern for the university counseling center where I gained experience in individual and group models of therapy, primarily for children and adolescents who are served by IEPs. I am also an adult and adolescent substance use disorder therapist for Soulful Recovery from November 2023 to present, leading groups and individual sessions.

In January 2024, I was hired as a therapist at the community mental health center-- Axis Health System-- in Norwood as their first full-time therapist. I continue to work for Axis building my client base and gaining experience.

Since January 2025, I have also been building my private, in-person practice here in Norwood, Colorado. I specialize in children and adolescent mental health and behaviors, family systems concerns, adoption concerns including foster care, guardianship and other out-of-home placements, trauma, and suicidal ideation.
