Welcome "BACH" to another wonderful year of Music!

My name is Lori Bernier (Kjellander) and I am the full time music teacher at North School! 

This year's music classes will meet for 50 minutes once a week and we will be focusing on many musical skills and activities! Students can look forward to fun and creative ways to learn through singing and dancing, playing musical instruments like the ukuleles, drums, and xylophones, as well as reading and creating music over the course of this year.

                      Educational Experiences:

I graduated from Keene State with my Bachelors of Arts in Music Ed. K-12 and my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Ed. K-8. In June I also completed my Masters in Elementary Leadership through SNHU. This year begins my eleventh year as an educator, and my sixth as a music teacher. I am excited to get back to North and to continue to bring out a love of music throughout the school! 

                            Before North School:

I spent the nine years growing as an educator at New Boston Central School, a K-6 Elementary School in New Boston, NH where I taught four years of fifth grade and one year of sixth grade before I took over as the Music Teacher. I held that position for the four years and am fortunate to bring all of that experience here with me to North School.
