Kindergarten is a busy place filled with learning and fun! We start each day with free choice activities before cleaning up and coming to the rug for calendar and a whole group math lesson. When then will take a small break for recess, snack and a story. Next, we will have a whole group literacy lesson and then break off into small group learning where students do handwriting, math, letter activities, reading, journal writing, ABC Books, crafts and activities. 

In Kindergarten we are learning about courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion in our Choose Love program. We also will have Library time with Mrs. McQueeney once a week!  

You child will need:

• A backpack large enough to hold a folder.

• A lunch box with a snack packed daily.

• Appropriate clothing and footwear for play and going outdoors daily (if the weather permits).
