About Mrs. McGuire

Hello!

I'm Mrs. McGuire, your 2nd grade teacher!

I have been teaching for nearly 30 years! This is my 26th year at South School. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I love working with young people because you are so great to work with! You make going to work "fun", and yes, sometimes it is challenging. You are worth it to me. I will work hard for you, and I know you will work hard for me too.

In my spare time I like to read, spend time with family and friends, do arts and crafts, and go on outdoor adventures. I love nature! I am also fond of traveling, camping, kayaking, science, and cooking. 

I know we'll have a great year together. We will help each other in many ways. We will have challenges, and we will have many laughs along the way, and we are sure to have a lot of fun times too. I'm so happy to be working with you this year. It will be a good one!
