Welcome! My name is Judy Martin and I love being a reading specialist at South School. I'm excited to get to know you and your child this year. We are going to have an awesome year filled with fun and learning.
A little bit about me...
I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and earned my Master's in Reading/Writing. I am certified in Orton Gillingham, and I also have been trained in several science-based programs of reading and writing including LETRS, Lively Letters, and Kendore Kingdome. I was a classroom teacher for many years before becoming a Reading Specialist.
I'm married and have two grown daughters who I enjoy spending time with. Also, I have two adorable kittens named Ellie and Teddy.

Hobbies: hiking, biking, reading, and traveling
